Dennis Lind takes the Lamborghini Super Trofeo European crown

Dennis Lind is the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo European champion for 2016. The 23-year-old Dannish driver in the gold-liveried Raton Racing’s #60 Lamborghini Huracan came to the season’s finale at Valencia’s Circuit Ricardo Tormo as the leader and he successfully defended a lead, taking a title ahead of Harald Schlegelmilch (Artline Team Georgia), Vito Postiglione (Imperiale Racing) and Martin Kodrić (Bonaldi Motorsport). All four drivers had a mathematical chances to clinch a title, but Lind holds off his rivals with a victory in the first race and fifth place in the second race.

The Italian Bonaldi Motorsport took the title in the teams’ classification while Bonaldi’s drivers Adrian Amstutz and Patrick Kujala became the champions in the Pro-Am category for drivers.

In the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia, the newly-crowned champions Toshiyuki Ochiai and Afiq Yazid  prevailed in both races. In the North American edition, Richard Antinucci (Change Racing) scored two victories. The American Pro class champion Shinya Michimi (Prestige Performance) got a third and a second place respectively.

After the last races of the European, North American and Asian editions of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo took place at Circuit Ricardo Tormo on Friday, the rest of the weekend is reserved for the World Final races with the best drivers from all three competitions together on the track.
