Two exciting races of the Ferrari Challenge Europe were held at Hungaroring during the first day of 2017 Ferrari Challenge Europe.

Trofeo Pirelli

Daniele Di Amato started from pole position in the first race of the day and cruised to another victory that propelled him to the top of the overall standings. Sam Smeeth of the Stratstone Ferrari comfortably took the second place while Alessandro Vezzoni completed the podium after tight battle with three other cars.

Trofeo Pirelli AM

Jens Liebhauser relatively easily scored his first win of the season. Christian Overgaard of Baron Service finished 2nd what is his first podium in 2017 and Gerald Aubock finished 3rd. The championship leader Martin Nelson retired on the first lap after collision.

Coppa Shell

In the second race of the day, Eric Cheung immediately took the lead from the pole-sitter and his Formula Racing teammate Johnny Laursen and led until the finish to score his first win of the season. Laursen had to settle for 2nd place while Rick Lovat of Kessel Racing completed the podium.
