Jean-Baptiste Dubourg is the Trophee Andros champion for season 2016-2017. Dubourg, who is driving DA Racing’s Renault Clio, wins his second ice racing title in a row taking the third place in the last event of the season this weekend at Clermont/Superbesse circuit, defending his lead ahead of Jean Philippe Dayraut and Olivier Panis.

Dayraut, who is driving BMW M2, is the winner of the last round, but it wasn’t enough to take the championship lead. Olivier Panis (Audi A1 quattro) finished second at Superbesse.

Twenty drivers participated in the Elite Pro class through a season, some of the world’s famous drivers from other series among them, such are Romain Grosjean and Adrien Tambay. Former FIA WEC champion Benoit Treluyer was among regular competitors, he finished sixth in the points.
