The fourth round of the 2018 ADAC GT Masters took place at Nurburgring this weekend. The victories went to Mercedes and Audi. Indy Dontje and Maxi Buhk triumphed in Saturday’s race in the #48 HTP Motorsport’s Mercedes-AMG GT3. On Sunday, Frank Stippler and Filip Salaquarda converted pole position into the victory in the #33 Team ISR’s Audi R8 LMS.

After the first race, Dontje/Buhk shared a podium with Ricardo Feller/Christopher Haase (#25 BWT Mucke Motorsport Audi) and Mirko Bortolotti/Andrea Caldarelli (#63 GRT Lamborghini). However, Feller/Haase received a penalty after the race because of a jump start. That promoted GRT’s duo to P2 and handed P3 to Markus Pommer and Maxi Gotz in another HTP Mercedes.

On Sunday, Frank Stippler and Filip Salaquarda won the race in an Audi, defeating Pommer/Gotz by 11.499 seconds. Mike David Ortmann and Markus Winkelhock finished in the third place in the #24 Mucke Motorsport Audi.
