Brad Keselowski beats Kyle Larson for Southern 500 victory and Playoffs place

Brad Keselowski (Team Penske) has won the Bojangles’ Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway, the penultimate race of the regular season of the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

Keselowski and his crew had more success in a race of the pit stops against Kyle Larson (Chip Ganassi Racing), who led for 284 laps in the 367-lap race at the 1.366-mile track. He won on the pit road and then won at the chequered flag, scoring his 25 Cup Series victory in a career and the first win this season, securing a place in Playoffs.

Joey Logano passed Larson for second on Lap 352, giving team Team Penske a 1-2 finish. Behind Larson, Kevin Harvick and Chase Elliott completed the top 5. Kyle Busch, who finioshed seventh, retained the series lead by 39 points over Harvick.
