Audi Sport TT Cup continues this weekend as a part of DTM event at Norisring. In its maiden season, the new racing series with 310-hp Audi TT Cup car is proving to be an interesting competition drawing youngsters from across the world as well as experienced guest drivers from other series.

The newest name to join the list of guests at Norisring is Jordi Gene, a former class winner at 24h Le Mans and an experienced touring car driver, who currently competes in the TCR International Series.

He will be behind the wheels of a #93 Audi, while numbers 94, 95 and 96 are reserved for three members of European nobilityPierre Casiraghi, Albert von Thurn un Taxis and Marcus Graf von Oeynhausen-Sierstorpff. Von Thurn un Taxis is the 2010 ADAC GT Masters winner and currently drives a Reiter’s Lamborghini Gallardo in the Blancpain GT Series. Needless to say, good results are expected from him at Norisring.

Other guest drivers include Sebastian Schmidt, Lutz Gernert and Doreen Seidel. Seidel is Playboy’s 2008 Playmate of the Year but also has some experience in racing, the latest being at 2014 Volkswagen Scirocco R Cup. The rest of the field has permanent drivers who are fighting for the title of first Audi Sport TT Cup winner.

In the first round at Hockenheimring, the winners were Marc Coleselli and Dennis MarschallMarschall is leading the championship with 43 points, ahead Nicolaj Moller Madsen (42) and Coleselli (41).

Following the free practice at the Norisring on Friday, Audi Sport TT Cup qualifying will get underway early on Saturday, at 07.35 local time, with first race scheduled to begin at 11.25. On Sunday, the race is scheduled for 09.00.
