BTCC: Sam Tordoff wins second race at Croft

In second BTCC race today at Croft Circuit winner was again driver of West Surrey Racing Team in BMW 125i M Sport. Sam Tordoff showed dominant performance and has won the race after leading all 15 laps from start to finish. Tordoff wasn’t in danger from pair of Team BMR’s drivers in Volkswagen CCs. Jason Plato started from third and finished second, Colin Turkington started fifth anf finished third.

Both of them had passed Race 1 winner Andy Priaulx in the Lap 3 and after that there wasn’t any more changes at the top. Gordon Shedden in Honda Yuasa’s Civic Type R started fourth and dropped to seventh, but later he was successful in duels with Rob Austin and Rob Collard and finished fifth.

Tom Ingram finished eight in Speedworks Motorsport’s Toyota Avensis. There was close battle between Adam Morgan, Jack Goff and Matt Neal for latest points. Morgan and Goff completing the top 10 despite contact between Goff and Neal at the Complex on the last lap.
