Button denies media speculations
McLaren Honda driver Jenson Button dismissed media speculations about his Formula 1 future saying hid didn’t make any decisions yet.
In the last few days, many speculations about Button’s future could be read, most of them saying that Britton has decided to retire after the end of 2015 campaign as he is very disappointed with a situation in McLaren Honda team.
But, former champion and one of the most experienced drivers told that there are still lots of possibilities for next year and added that he is in talks with his team.
“I can’t tell anything until the last race. I am in talks with my team and they are going well. There is still too many options of what could happen next year. You are going to gave a wait for a little while,” said Button.
He also said that there is still belief in Honda’s long-term prospects, despite a disappointing season.
“This is an important time for Honda. They will give everything to win the championship and, I think, that is just matter of time. Hopefully we will see the president of Honda stood on the podium again,” concluded Button.
