Bad weather caused damage on the route of Dakar Rally second stage, so organizers decided to shorten it drastically.

After stage 1 was cancelled on Sunday because of bad weather, stage 2 will be much shorter as the weather has wreaked havoc and only reasonable decision was to change the route.

That’s why, today’s stage from Villa Carlos Paz to Termas de Rio Hondo will be ended at CP4, what is over a half of the special stage shorter, in order to guarantee the competitors’ safety.
