Demoustier joined Sebastien Loeb Racing
Sebastien Loeb Racing team confirmed Gregoire Demoustier as their second driver for WTCC 2016 campaign.
;
The 24-year-old driver spent his debut season in the series with Craft Bamboo team driving Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1, finishing 20th in the Drivers’ championship, scoring five points.
;
Now he will get a chance to drive Citroen C-Elysee which was absolutely dominant in 2015 and together with his teammate Mehdi Bennani could be involved in battle for Yokohama Teams’ championship trophy.
;
“I could not hope to get better chance as this team is perfect. I am happy to join French team that has shown ability to fully utilise the Citroen C-Elysee. This car proved its capacity on track, but I am curious to see its behaviour when driving. After all, my ambitions are higher now. I learned a lot in my first season and I hope to achieve something more,” told Demoustier.
;
Sebastien Loeb Racing still has to name third driver for the next season, while Craft Bamboo is expected to leave WTCC, concentrating to TCR International series and GT races.
