DTM drivers prepare for the Nurburgring 24h Race
Many of the DTM drivers are preparing to be a part of the Nurburgring 24 Hours race which will be held from 14th to 17th of May.
Maximilian Gotz and Christian Vietoris (Mercedes), Martin Tomczyk (BMW), as well reigning champion Marco Wittmann (BMW) were involved in this weekend endurance race action at “Green Hell”. This event was a preparation for the classic race held in Eifel region.
Experienced Gotz was a guest of the Haribo Racing Team and was behind the wheel of the SLS AMG GT3, while for Vietoris it was first involvement in the qualifying at Nurburgring. The German contests his home race at the wheel of an SLS AMG GT3 entered by Team Zakspeed, while Wittmann and Tomczyk will race a BMW Z4 GT3 for BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert.
And right after six hours qualifying, the DTM drivers will have to travel to Oschersleben for the second official DTM test.
Those tests also will be a chance for all the DTM enthusiast who can watch live action on all the four days of action, from Monday to Thursday. Both the paddock and the grandstand will be opened for the visitors throught the tests.
