FCE: Grossman and Prinoth won again in Imola

Bjorn Grossman and Erich Prinoth repeated their success from Saturday and triumphed in Ferrari Challenge Europe races held on Sunday.

 

Grossman (Octane 126) had pole position in Trofeo Pirelli race again and crossed the finish line unchallenged one more time. This time, German driver beat Italians David Gostner (Ineco MP Racing) and Max Blancardi (Octane 126).

 

After another victory, Grossman maintained his championship lead with 183 points, followed by “Babalus” Santoponte with 143, and Florian Merckx with 111.

 

Erich Prinoth Ferrari

 

In Coppa Shell race, Prinoth (Ineco MP Racing) started from second position and in lap six he passed over Gautam Singhania after Indian driver made a mistake and had to settle with second place at the end, while Fons Scheltema (Kessel Racing) from The Netherlands won the third.

 

Belgian driver Jacques Duyver of Kessel Racing is still on top of the championship standings with 140 points, but Prinoth with 137 points and Singhania with 113 are now much closer.
