Ferrari Challenge: Ricardo Perez grabs win in Texas

Ricardo Perez, Jim Weiland and Matt Keegan are the winner of the first race of Ferrari Challenge North America’s third round at Circuit of the Americas.

Ferrari of Houston driver Perez, scored victory at his home track even after he has started from 8th place, he managed to pass through the mess which was created in front of him after a series of incidents in which were involved many cars. Carlos Kauffman (Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale) finished second while Damon Ockey (Ferrari of Ontario) was third.

Jim Weiland (Boardwalk Ferrari) clinched victory in his class much easier. He was on the top from start to finish, beating Chuck Quinton, who scored his first podium this year, and Canadian Patrice Brisebois who was third.

Coppa Shell

Ferrari of San Francisco driver Matt Keegan managed to win the race in his fifth start in the Ferrari Challenge, beating the more experienced rivals Jean-Claude Saada (Boardwalk Ferrari) and Joe Courtney (Miller Motor Cars).
