Aston Martin Racing selected five drivers competing in British GT for test which will go in Bahrain starting from November 21st.

Jamie Chadwick and Ross Gunn, current GT4 class champions, Matt Bell and Dan Lloyd, as well as Jody Fannin, will get a chance to earn contract with Aston Martin factory team. They will drive Vantage GTE during FIA World Endurance Championship’s official rookie test day.

As Aston Martin Racing team principal John Gaw said, they will get an opportunity to pick some experience and earn contract with works squad, just as reigning GT3 class champion Jonathan Adam did.

“These five British drivers impressed us this year, on and out of track, so they deserved a chance to earn lucrative contract. Of course, one of them won’t be put in the World Endurance Championship immediately, but he will be placed with one of our customer teams, with a view to moving up to Pro GTE line-up in the future,” said Gaw.
