GP2: Vandoorne unstoppable, ART Grand Prix wins title

Stoffel Vandoorne confirmed supremacy in GP2 Series winning feature race at Bahrain International Circuit and helping his ART Grand Prix team securing Teams’ championship title three rounds before the end of the season.

Belgian driver started from second position, but never was really challenged after moving on the top of the grid. This was sixth victory this season for Vandoorne who now has 165 points more than Alexander Rossi in Drivers’ championship.

ART Grand Prix triumph in Bahrain was confirmed with Nobuharu Matsushita’s second place what is second best result for Japanese driver in 2015, while Mitch Evans from New Zealand (Russian Time team) won last place on podium, leaving Raffaele Marciello (Trident) and Sergey Sirotkin (Rapax) on fourth and fifth place respectively.
