2015 WTCC: Lopez fastest, again

Jose Maria Lopez is still the fastest WTCC driver in Marrakech after he went quickest during first Free practice in Saturday morning.

The reigning world champion lapped the 4.545 kilometre Circuit in a time of 1:44.057 with Citroen Racing team-mate Sebastien Loeb 0.168s adrift in second.

Home favorite Mehdi Bennani again was solid with third best lap, while Yvan Muller had fourth best result, just in front of Gabriele Tarquini in Honda.

Second Free practice was a little bit interesting than first one, but Lopez again finished on the top. Argentinian driver slightly before the end of the session claimed top spot after he overpassed his teammates Sebastien Loeb and Yvan Muller.

Ma Qing Hua this time finished fourth, while Tiago Monteiro in Honda was the best of Yokohama Trophy drivers finishing at fifth place.

Lada Sport team had anotiher disappointing performance with Rob Huff as a best placed at 11th, while the other teams did as it was expected and for the qualifying is expected almost the same outcome.
