Lopez wants WTCC hat-trick
Double World Touring Car Championship title winner Jose Maria Lopez said he wants to break record and become first driver who won three titles in a row.
Argentinian ace won the title in his debut season in 2014, this year he was dominant again, so he set high standards and is very ambitious to make history becoming first driver to win hat-trick.
“When I look back in 2014, I thought it was impossible to repeat that success, but this year I won same number of races and pole positions and also scored more points against very strong opponents. This year we had five Citroens C-Elysee instead of three, so I am very proud of my achievements,” said Pechito Lopez and added:
“I know it will be extremely difficult to repeat, but from this moment I will try to concentrate and prepare for 2016. I will give my best to beat my rivals and defend my title”.
