Mercedes-Benz will be represented by two more teams in the next round of ADAC GT Masters at Nurburgring.

ROWE Racing is returning as a guest team with Dutch debutant Stef Dusseldorp and experienced German Nico Bastian as its drivers. The circuit at Eifel mountains is home of the Worms-based team, so it expects to score a better result than last year.

“We have some very fond memories of last year’s ADAC GT Masters, especially of our ‘home race’ at the Nürburgring which we were keen not to miss this year either. Also, we still have a little unfinished business in the ADAC GT Masters. We didn’t achieve a single podium in the series in 2014, so it would be great if, as late arrivals on the scene, we could change all that next weekend,” said Hans-Peter Naundorf, Team Principal at ROWE Racing.

The car collection will face its first competition at Nurburgring. The Dutch driver Renger van der Zande shone last year at Nurburgring in his only performance in ADAC GT Masters and this time he will be partnered with the experienced German Alexander Mattschull.

“We are planning to increase our involvement in GT3 racing in the years to come and regard our start in the ADAC GT Masters as a test race in order to gain experience for the future,” said Car Collection’s Motorsport team manager Denis Ferlemann.

Apart from ROWE Racing and Car Collection Motorsport, Mercedes-Benz will be represented at Nurburgring with HP Racing and championship leaders Team Zakspeed.
