Mick Schumacher, 16-years old Michael Schumacher’s son, will be back on the track in ADAC F4 Championship next weekend (19-21 June) at Spa-Frankorchamps. Mick suffered a fracture in his hand at second round of championship nine days ago at Red Bull Ring and missed the last race that weekend.

An injury isn’t healed yet, but Mick has passed the mandatory medical checks and will be on the grid despite pain he suffers. He has a fracture just below his right thumb and is capable to drive, so we will see him again in #25 car of Van Amersfoort Racing.

“I wanted to race, so now I am very relieved. Fortunately, what they told me in Austria is confirmed — that the break is very simple. So everything should be fine in Spa”, Mick said. After six championship races he is currently ninth in overall standings and third in Rookie’s standings.
