WRC: Ott Tanak stays with Ford, but not in M-Sport squad

Estonian rally driver Ott Tanak will not be a part of M-Sport World Rally Team in 2016 World Rally Championship season. According to unofficial informations Tanak will be dropped out from M-Sport’s driver line-up, but 28-year-old Tanak allegedly already found reserve solution. Autosport.com said that Tanak will join Finnish driver Jari Ketomaa in the team of tyre manufacturer DMACK. Ketomaa competed in DMACK’s Fiesta R5 in WRC2 championship in 2014 and 2015.

DMACK announed that programme for 2016 will be announced in a few days, but unofficial informations said that both Ketomaa and Tanak will get Fiesta RS WRC cars for limited number of WRC rallies. M-Sport also will confirm drivers for 2016 season shortly, because testing for the opening round (Rallye Monte-Carlo) beginning next week. The deadline for Monte-Carlo entries is December 18.
