IndyCar Series: Will Power wins at the Tricky Triangle
Team Penske’s Will Power scored his third win of the season and 30th IndyCar victory in a career by winning the ABC Supply 500 at the Pocono Raceway.
In the closing laps, the 36-year-old Australian holds off his younger teammate Josef Newgarden and crossed the finish line with an advantage of 0.5268 seconds. Second-place finish is enough for Newgarden to remain in the championship lead after fourteen races, with three more rounds on a calendar.
Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi finished in the third place, capturing his third podiums of the season. Simon Pagenaud (Team Penske) and Tony Kanaan (Chip Ganassi Racing) completed the top 5.
