Volvo enters FIA World Touring Car Championship next year, but Swedish manufacturer and Cyan Racing team are still weighing options who will drive TC1 Volvo S60 Polestar.

Volvo will enter the championship with two cars with plans for expansion in the future, but names of the drivers are still unknown. Swedish drivers Thed Bjork, Robert Dahlgren and Fredrik Ekblom were involved in testing of Volvo S60 and they are just a few of many possible candidates for the place in the team for 2016.

“They are loyal drivers and they have been with us for a long time, but that doesn’t mean they will be our drivers in WTCC. We still have enough time to make a decision, so we don’t want to hurry as it is a very big and important decision. I think we will decide in the next couple of weeks,” said Cyan Racing CEO Christian Dahl.

Volvo will enter WTCC as a fifth manufacturer, joining Citroen, Honda, Lada and Chevrolet.
