Ricciardo awarded

Infinity Red Bull Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo was named winner of the Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year Award after a brilliant rookie season in which he won three Formula 1 Grand Prix for his team.

“The year was awesome, one of those years which I think was as good as it could get without actually winning a title. Definitely a breakthrough in my career,” said Australian racer.

Daniel is also the second Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver to win a major prize at the Laureus World Sports Awards, with Sebastian Vettel taking the top Sportsman of the Year prize last year.
