New BMW M6 has 4.4 litre twin-turbo V8 engine and it is expected to be a worthy successor of Z4 GT3 model. That’s why many well-known drivers are testing new BMW in Florida, at Sebring and Daytona circuits.

Former DTM champion Marco Wittmann and Maxime Martin, another DTM driver, together with Jens Klingmann, who won third place in ADAC GT Masters Drivers’ championship this year, are putting M6 through its paces and impressions are good.

“Almost a year ago I had first test drive in the BMW M6 GT3 and huge progress is evident. From my point of view, this car is exceptional. Suggestions we had last time are implemented and we get satisfying results, so can’t wait until first race. Only then we will get proper feeling where we stand. After that, we can define our targets for the debut season,” commented Klingmann.
