The well known Team 75 Bernhard, ran by son and father Timo and Rudiger Bernhard, will be one of the newcomers in the 2016 ADAC GT Masters season.

After three successful years in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, it’s time for a new challenge and the team will field the new Porsche 911 GT3 R. Porsche factory driver Kevin Estre, who is experienced in this competition, has already been named as one of the drivers. The Frenchman has four starts in ADAC GT Masters and two wins, which is an impressive record.

Ready for the new challenge

“GT3 racing is the future and represents the logical next step for us as a young team. I have been with Porsche for 17 years, so I am really pleased to have a strong partner at our side to assist us in our endeavours,” said the reigning Sports Car World Champion and one of the team owners Timo Bernhard.

;

“The thing that I am most looking forward with our move to the ADAC GT Masters is the new Porsche 911 GT3 R, which is a thoroughbred racing car,” said the team boss Rudiger Bernhard.

;

The newcomer to the series will still have plenty of time to name the second driver for 2016 and prepare for the debut at Oschersleben in mid-April.
