2015 V8 Supercars Perth Super Sprint - practice

The first weekend of May is the time for the fourth round of 2015 V8 Supercars series, one of the most interesting championships at the moment and probably the most interesting series in tourng car races. This week the V8 Supercars event is held in Perth on Barbagallo Raceway track which is 2.411 km long. This event is Sprint type race which means that the races are short but very fast, dynamic and with lot of exciting moments. The first two of three practice sessions was held on Friday, 1st of May and were 60 minutes long. During the both of practice sessions on Friday, the weather was extremely hot which was hard for the drivers.  Here are the results of first practice session:

Looking at the first results we can see that Holden cars are in first two places with Ford on the third and Nissan is on the sixth.  After the Ford was dominant in last two events, Holden is getting its pace back and Nissan proved to be fast on practice sessions but still has to prove itself on qualifying and race. Here are the results of the second practice session:

The Supercheap Auto Racing team with its Holden cars was dominant in Friday practice with Tim Slade and David Wall. But let’s see weather they will continue this tomorrow and what will happened in qualifying and in Sunday’s races.
