Lando Norris and Harrison Scott are the winners of two Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup races at Circuit Paul Ricard. With this triumph, Norris secured the Rookie of the Year honors, while for the overall title he would fight in the next round at Spa-Francorchamps in September.

Harrison Scott (AVF by Adrían Valles) started the Saturday’s race from pole and scored his third win of the season, ahead of Lando Norris (Josef Kaufmann Racing). Will Palmer (R-ace GP) scored his first ever podium, making it a 100% British podium.

For Sunday’s race, Lando Norris took his fourth pole of the season and converted it to the fifth win of the season. By winning ahead of Max Defourny (R-ace GP) and Dorian Boccolacci (Tech 1 Racing), Norris increased the lead in the general classification of the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and took the Rookie of the Year honors, two rounds before the end of the season. In the overall standings, Norris has 202 points while second-placed Defourny has 162,5 points, so we can expect that the next round at Spa-Francorchamps (September 24-25) would be decisive.
