DTM in Russia: Rene Rast leads Audi's 1-2 at Moscow Raceway
Rene Rast converts his third pole position of the season into his second victory today in the first race of the DTM weekend at Moscow Raceway. It’s the fourth win of the season for Audi. Mike Rockenfeller reaches a podium less than three weeks after a horrific accident at Norisring, finishing in the second place.
Two Audi drivers started from the front row after the fastest qualifier Marco Wittmann (BMW) received a five-place grid penalty because he collected three warnings earlier in the season. Rast and Rockenfeller retained their position but we saw intense fights for the third place in a podium.
