Win for Toyota, titles for Rebellion, Ferrari and Aston Martin Racing
Toyota scored victory in the 6 Hours of Bahrain, the final race of the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship season. Sebastien Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima and Anthony Davidson scored their fifth win of the season in the #8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid to confirm their second place in the final standings of the championship.
Porsche drivers Timo Bernhard, Brendon Hartley and Earl Bamber, who already secured championship title after a penultimate round at Shanghai, finished second today in the #2 Porsche 919 Hybrid. Andre Lotterer, Neel Jani and Nick Tandy completed a podium in the #1 Porsche.
In other classes, the championship fight was decided today at Bahrain International Circuit. Bruno Senna, Julien Canal and Nicolas Prost captured the LMP2 class title for the #31 Rebellion Racing Oreca crew. They won today ahead of #38 Jackie Chan DC Racing Oreca and #13 Rebellion Oreca.

In the GTE Pro class, Ferrari ended a season with 1-2 victory. The race winners are Sam Bird and Davide Rigon in the #71 Ferrari 488 GTE, ahead of #51 Ferrari of James Calado and Alessandro Pier Giudi, who became new champions. Andy Priaulx and Harry Tincknell completed a podium in the #67 Ford GT.
In the GTE Am class, Aston Martin Racing’s #98 crew took the victory in the last race and the championship title. Pedro Lamy, Mathias Lauda and Paul dalla Lana have won the race ahead of two Ferraris.
