F3 at Hungaroring: Wins for Ilott and Eriksson

Callum Ilott and Joel Eriksson are the winners of the 2017 FIA European Formula 3 Championship races held on Sunday at Hungaroring.

Race 2

Callum Ilott started from pole position in the second race of the weekend and led from lights to flag to score his third win of the season. The British driver of the Prema Powerteam never was really put under pressure from Joel Eriksson of Motopark and another Prema Powerteam driver Guanyu Zhou who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. This was the first podium finish in the series for the Chinese racer.

Race 3

In the last race of the weekend the winner was Joel Eriksson. The Motopark team driver scored his fourth victory of the season to maintain the lead in the points after the fourth round of the series. He triumphed 1.8s ahead of Ilott while Zhou again finished 3rd after resisting attacks of Lando Norris late in the race.
