Pietro Fittipaldi (Lotus) was on a way to his third win in the 2017 World Series Formula V8 3.5 season but troubled pit stop cost him almost twenty seconds and a victory goes to Matevos Isaakyan (SMP Racing). For the 19-year-old Russian driver this is second Formula V8 win in a career and the first win of the season.

Following Fittipaldi’s problems, Isaakyan inherited a lead and holds off another Lotus driver Rene Binder in the second place, beating him for three seconds after 21 laps of racing. Yesterday’s winner Alfonso Celis Jr (Fortec Motorsport) captures one more podium, finishing in the third place today.

Pietro Fittipaldi started from pole position and led without problems until a time for tire change came. After dropping down to P8, Fittipaldi fought back and finished in the sixth place, behind Roy Nissany in the fourth place and the best rookie Diego Menchaca in the fifth.
