TCR Series: Colciago triumphs in race 1 at Sakhir
Italian driver Roberto Colciago won the race 1 of the TCR International Series at Bahrain International Circuit.
Pierre-Yves Corthals in Opel Astra started from pole position with Hugo Valente beside him in the front row. They were followed by Colciago and championship leader Davit Kajaia. The Italian in Honda Civic had the best start and took the lead while the other driver who made big progress was Dusan Borkovic in Alfa Romeo Giulietta who moved up to the 4th after starting from 9th position.

At the end, the Frenchman was the most skillful and completed the podium, finishing behind Colciago, who scored his second victory in the TCR Series, and Valente.
