TCR Series: Colciago takes victory in the race 1 at Monza
The M1RA team driver Roberto Colciago is the winner of the TCR International Series race 1 at Autodromo Nazionale Monza.
Frederic Vervisch in his second appearance in the series won the pole position for the first race of the weekend. The Belgian driver of Comtoyou Racing was able to beat two Hondas of Roberto Colciago and Attila Tassi in the qualifying but in the race quickly lost leading position and dropped to the 4th place.
Colciago was on the top of the grid during all of 11 laps and scored his second win of the season. His teammate Tassi finished 2nd after the great battle with the SEAT Leon driver Pepe Oriola.

Podium ceremony after the TCR Series race 1 at Monza
The Leopard Racing’s Jean-Karl Vernay finished 4th to strengthen his lead in the championship overall standings, with a solid advantage to Colciago, Tassi, and the reigning champion Stefano Comini who today finished out of the points.
