Aston Martin is prepared to return to Formula 1 as reports are claiming that Force India is ready to rebrand its name in 2016.

Aston Martin had a short spell in Formula 1 more than 50 years ago and after that completely exited the series, but had a lot of success in various racing competitions.

Now, famous British manufacturer is ready to make a competition on and off the track with rivals like Ferrari and McLaren, and Force India team, even with Mercedes’ engine, looks like a good opportunity to join the most popular racing championship.

Reports also said that Aston Martin was interested in Red Bull and Williams, but talks collapsed and the deal with Force India is almost done as the sources saying livery change for the next year is already prepared, with blue and gold as primary colors.

Vijay Mallya, Force India Team principal, couldn’t confirm any deal is done, but suggested that something is going on: “It’s premature to talk about it now, but we are talking. Nothing is done until it’s done. I don’t like to count my chickens until they are hatched.”

Aston Martin representatives were also closed for any detailed comment and their spokesperson just said that their future looks very bright, adding everything will be known if the negotiations became successful.
