FIA released provisional Formula 1 calendar for 2016

Provisional calendar for the Formula 1 season 2016 was released by FIA, with 21 races listed.


Next season will start later than usual with Australian Grand Prix scheduled for 3rd of April. Final race is scheduled for 27th of November in Abu Dhabi. Russian Grand Prix is moved forward to May, race in Malaysia is moved back in the second part of the season, week before the race in Singapore.


After absence in 2015, German Grand Prix is back and it is scheduled for May, while only new race is the inaugural Grand Prix of Azerbaijan in the capital city of Baku.

May 1: Russia
May 15: Spain
May 29: Monaco
June 12: Canada
June 26: United Kingdom
July 3: Austria
July 17: Azerbaijan
July 31: Germany
August 7: Hungary
August 28: Belgium
September 4: Italy
September 18: Singapore
September 25: Malaysia
October 9: Japan
October 23: USA (Austin)
October 30: Mexico
November 13: Brazil
November 27: Abu Dhabi
