First win for Nicklas Nielsen in Audi Sport TT Cup

Nicklas Nielsen from Denmark scored his maiden win after being fastest in the first race of Audi Sport TT Cup at Zandvoort Circuit.

The race was stopped right after the start because of the crash between Simon Larsson and Patrick Egsgaard. Larsson was out of the race just as Yves Meyer and guest driver Xavier Daffe who couldn’t avoid collision in front of them. The race was restarted after 30 minutes under the safety car but was shortened to only eight laps..

Nicklas Nielsen had a pole position for the first time this season anad maged to keep the lead under the end. He triumphed 2.5s ahead of Sheldon van der Linde while the championship leader Dennis Marschall finished third after great display.
