FR 3.5 Series: Pole position for Jazeman Jaafar at Monaco
Malaysian driver Jazeman Jaafar (Fortec Motorsport) secured pole-position for tommorow’s FormulaRenault 3.5 Series race at Monaco Grand Prix street circuit. Jaafar set the lap time 1.23.425 and was almost a second quicker than his team-mate Oliver Rowland (1.24.370).
;
From the second row race will start Lotus junior driver Matthieu Vaxiviere and Tio Ellinas (Strakka Racing). Fifth and sixth places in a third row were reserved for Dean Stoneman (DAMS) and Pietro Fantin (Draco Racing).
;
Twenty drivers were divided in two qualifying groups, with Fortec drivers dominated in both. As Rowland and Jaafar set the fastest time in Free Practice and Qualifying we can call them favourites in tommorow’s race, but racing on dangerous Monte-Carlo circuit is always unpredictable, so better predict nothing.
;
Race will start on Sunday at 11.10 (CET).
