McLaren, Red Bull and Toro Rosso teams are penalized for the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix after making engine changes.

;

McLaren drivers Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button will take their ninth Honda engines of the season and with them ten and five place grid drops respectively, adding further misery for one of the most successful teams of the series.

;

Things for Red Bull are pretty same. Daniil Kvyat’s engine change means a ten-place grid drop, while team mate Daniel Ricciardo is demoted 25 places thanks to other power unit elements also being replaced.

Both teams are hoping this strategy will help them in the next race in Singapore and this could be kind of desperate move as McLaren and Red Bull are struggling throughout whole season.

;

Finally, Toro Rosso’s Carlos Sainz loses ten grid places thanks to a fresh Renault engine following his problems at Belgian Grand Prix.

;

Meanwhile, Ferrari have upgraded their engine for their home race, and Mercedes have revealed that they have used all seven of their remaining development tokens to update their power unit too. It will have more power, also with a view to 2016 development.
