Christian Horner, Red Bull Team Principal, said the situation with Toro Rosso team is even worse than with his own team.

Owner of both Formula 1 teams, Dietrich Mateschitz, is reportedly ready for withdrawal from Formula 1 if they could not find new engine supplier until the end of the year, after cooperation with Renault almost surely will be end before the end of the year.

There is a lot of speculations about Red Bull’s future, but almost nobody takes attention on the future of Toro Rosso.

“The situation is really critical. We are working, talking and thinking, but we don’t have engine for next year. Situation with Toro Rosso is even worse as they have less time left than Red Bull,” says Horner.

“What is most important is that we need first class engine. We can not afford to act without it. We have so much qualified people in our staff, so we must find solution how to use them in the best possible way and react quickly. We are already very late in terms of the preparation for 2016,” concluded Red Bull Team Principal.
