British driver Josh Files has won the ADAC TCR Germany championship title for the second year in a row.

Driving the #1 Honda Civic for Target Competition, he closes a season with a victory in the last race at Hockenheimring, ending a championship with 65-point advantage over Mike Halder (Wolf-Power Racing, Seat Leon). In fourteen races over the season, Files scored six wins and three more podium results.

“Being a double champion is a sensational feeling, with the tie to the team even tighter than last year, the opponents were even stronger and all the more intense,” said Files.

Sheldon van der Linde (AC 1927 Mayen, Audi RS3 LMS) finished third in the championship standings, ahead of Harald Proczyk (HP Racing, Opel Astra) and Niels Langeveld (Racing One, Audi RS3 LMS).
