Kvyat unsure about future
Daniil Kvyat said that his Red Bull team deserves competitive engine in 2016, but he is not sure what will happen.
After parting company with Renault, Red Bull team is without engine supplier for next season, Kvyat is unhappy after Ferrari and Mercedes refused to give their engines, but said that is something he can’t change.
“First of all, we deserve engine which can make us competitive, but many are against us as they know what we can do. There is so many things behind the scenes, but none of them are my business. I am trying to concentrate on what depends of me and in this situation nothing depends on me,” said Russian driver.
Red Bull’s ‘younger brother’ Toro Rosso is close to make a deal with Ferrari what could make them even more competitive, and Kvyat is not too happy about that.
“We were very close this season in terms of results, but at the end we scored more points. I don’t know which engine we wil have next year and also don’t know which one thel will get. In Formula 1 anything can happen, but I am trying not to think much about that,” concluded Kvyat.
