Fabio Leimer (Octane 126), Sam Smeeth (Stratstone Motorsport) and Rick Lovat (Kessel Racing) are the winners of the Ferrari Challenge Europe race 1 at Hockenheimring.

Fabio Leimer confidently won Saturday’s race at Hockenheimring, beating his teammate and the championship leader Bjorn Grossman by 5.798s while Philipp Baron (Rossocorsa) finished third, 8.894s behind the winner.

In this class Sam Smeeth confirmed his fine form with another victory after which he put one hand on the champion’s trophy. Henrik Hedman (Autoropa) finished second in the race after big battle with Tommaso Rocca (Rossocorsa).

In the opening race of the day, Lovat managed to beat home driver and the championship leader Thomas Lofflad (StileF Squadra Corse) by 1.536s while Erich Prinoth (Ineco – MP Racing) was third with a gap of 3.497s.
