Formula V8: Orudzhev fastest in race 2 at Jerez Circuit

The Arden Motorsport’s driver Egor Orudzhev is the winner of the Formula V8 3.5 Series’ race 2 at Jerez Circuit.

Louis Deletraz started from pole position, while the championship leader Tom Dillmann was on 13th place but Egor Orudzhev was the man of the moment as he had a perfect start. The Russian driver took the lead starting from the 5th place.

Orudzhev was the first who did a mandatory pit-stop and later relatively easily kept his lead. The Arden Motorsport’s driver scored his fourth win of the season, while Deletraz took second place finishing 2.019s behind the winner. Matthieu Vaxiviere completed the podium finishing third.

Deletraz now leads the championship with 200 points, only one point ahead of Tom Dillmann, while Egor Orudzhev moved up to the third place overal with 176 points.

The last round of the Formula V8 3.5 Series will go on in Barcelona, at Catalunya Circuit, on November 5/6.
