ADAC F4: Wins for Armstrong, Drugovich and Vips

Marcus Armstrong marked the third round of the ADAC Formula 4 Championship after scoring victory and a total of three podium finishes at Red Bull Ring.

In the first race of the weekend winner was Marcus Armstrong. The 16-year-old New Zealander of the Prema Powerteam started from pole position and beat off competition from Michael Waldherr and Nicklas Nielsen to score a maiden victory in the series.

The ADAC Formula 4 race 2 was somewhat more interesting. Felipe Drugovich started from P4 but did a great job and soon took the lead. The Brazilian defended his lead resolutely and became the first driver in 2017 who scored two victories. Behind the driver of Van Amersfoort Racing were Juan Manuel Correa and Marcus Armstrong who confirmed a fine form.

Juri Vips won the race 3 at Red Bull Ring

In the last race of the weekend at Red Bull Ring, Juri Vips was triumphant and took the lead in the championship standings after the third round of the season. The young Estonian driver of Prema Powerteam beat Nicklas Nielsen by only 0.4s while Marcus Armstrong for the second time finished 3rd and definitely was the man of the weekend.
