Thomas Preining (BWT Lechner Racing) scored his third win in a row and the fourth win this season in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup today at Autodromo Nazionale Monza.

Unlike in the previous three wins, when he converted pole positions into victories, Preining didn’t start from pole position today but he managed to beat his teammate, pole-sitter and defending champion Michael Ammermuller. Mattia Drudi (Dinamic Motorsport) finished third, what is his fourth podiums of the season.

Nick Yelloly finished fourth, ahead of Dylan Pereira and Jaap van Lagen. Florian Latorre, Julien Andlauer, Alberto Cerqui and Richard Heistand completed the top 10. Thirty drivers participated in the race.

The next round of the Porsche Supercup is the season’s finale with two races at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico, during the F1 Mexican Grand Prix, scheduled for October 27-28.
