Jüri Vips (Hitech Grand Prix) and Jake Hughes (HWA Racelab) are the winners of two FIA Formula 3 Championship races at Red Bull Ring, in the third round of the 2019 season. For both drivers, those were maiden wins in the inaugural season of the FIA F3 Championship.

On Saturday, Vips stopped the streak of four consecutive wins for Prema Racing drivers, taking a victory in the Feature Race ahead of Max Fewtrell (ART Grand Prix) and Marcus Armstrong (Prema Racing).

On Sunday, the Sprint Race was marked by the last-lap accident of Prema drivers Robert Shwartzman and Marcus Armstrong who were fighting for the victory. Armstrong had to retire while Shwartzman recovered from the crash and crossed the finish line as the provisional winner, but the five-second penalty demoted him to P3. Jake Hughes inherited a victory. The third man on a podium was Jehan Daruvala (Prema Racing).

After reaching a podium on Sunday, Shwartzman and Daruvala stayed on the top of the championship standings, with 90 points (Shwartzman) and 82 points (Daruvala) on their accounts. Juri Vips progressed to third place with 63 points on his account.
