Bjorn Grossman and Erich Prinoth are the winners of the Ferrari Challenge Europe day one races in Imola.

Grossman, who is the championship leader in Trofeo Pirelli class, clinched another victory. The German with team Octane 126 started from pole position and maintained the lead all the way to the finish line, increasing the gap between him and Matteo “Babalus” Santoponte (Autoropa) who finished seventh.

Belgian Florian Merckx (Baron Service) finished second after a spectacular maneuver which gave him the upper hand just a few turns from the finish line, beating Italian David Gostner (Ineco MP Racing). Russian Nikita Zlobin (AF Corse) also had a fantastic race, starting last and finishing the race in fourth place.
