Sven Muller looks unstoppable

  • Sven Muller

Sven Muller scored third consecutive win and fourth in 2016 Porsche Supercup season. Lechner Racing’s driver was the fastest at Hockenheimring, beating his main rival Matteo Cairoli in the very close race.

For the first time this year Muller started from pole position and kept his lead until the end. Just as in the previous round at Hungaroring, the race was marked with an accident back on the grid. Just like seven days ago, unlucky Chris Bauer had to retire from the race in its very early stage after his Porsche was badly damaged, just as Christof Langer‘s car.

However, Muller’s supremacy continued and looks like he is on the good way to win the title. Cairoli finished second, only 0.387 behind the winner, while the Swiss Jeffrey Schmidt finished third with a gap of 2.170s.
