Bentley Team HTP with Luca Stolz and Tom Dillmann won pole for ADAC GT Masters race 1 at Hockenheim, while Lambda Performance with Frank Kechele and Nico Verdonck behind the wheel of a Ford GT won pole position for Sunday’s race for the season finale at Hockenheim.

Championship leaders Sebastian Asch and Luca Ludwig in Team Zakspeed Mercedes will start from third position in race one, while in race two, they will start from second, so that puts them in an excellent position to win the title, maybe even after Saturday’s race.

Their main rival, Team Schubert’s BMW #80, with Dominik Baumann and Bruno Spengler as drivers, finished fifth in qualifying for race 1 and sixth for race two, so they’ll need to put a lot of hard work and a bit of luck to overtake Asch and Ludwig.

Another title contender, Klaus Bachler in GW IT Racing Team Schutz Motorsport’s Porsche, starts from second place on Saturday and seventh place on Sunday, so he can play a very important role in the last two rounds of ADAC GT Masters.

Races of the ADAC GT Masters last round on Saturday and Sunday are scheduled for 13.15h CET.
