Bernie looks to California

Talking to Sky Sports before the Free practice 2 of the United States Grand Prix, Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone hinted about the new race in the United States.

When asked about how to raise the popularity of Formula 1 in the USA, Ecclestone confirmed that he is looking for a destination for the second race there. There were speculations about a race in New Jersey or in Long Beach, but Ecclestone has a different idea.

“To be honest, we are looking at California, but not at Long Beach,” surprisingly said Ecclestone suggesting that Laguna Sea could be next destination for the series.
